We have adopted a new approach in delivering our Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (STEM) program. Children from Mathare slums & New Zealand will be working on the same Science challenge under LOCKDOWN CHALLENGE in partnership with @sciencebox. The program offers an opportunity to our kids and those from New Zealand to collaborate, interact & learn from each other online while solving Science Challenges at home.
Parents are also involved in the program. They have to ensure their kids submit their weekly challenge. Those who submit their weekly science challenge receives food voucher. This ensure parent’s participation in their kid’s learning.
